Pizza restaurant chain Mellow Mushroom sued a New Jersey-based franchisee that allegedly continued operating its restaurant after the franchise agreement ended.
Mellow Mushroom of Tom’s River LLC entered into a 2015 agreement with Atlanta-based Mellow Mushroom, whose corporate name is Home-Grown Industries of Georgia Inc., to operate a pizza restaurant in Toms River, N.J., according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
