The toy and game maker is entitled to statutory damages under federal trademark law because the five defendants willfully infringed its registered marks, Judge Loretta A. Preska said in an order filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. Preska also permanently enjoined the defendants from further violating the Mattel game’s rights.
