The motion comes after a jury couldn’t decide whether Apple stole the medical device company’s trade secrets to craft the Apple Watch’s blood-oxygen sensor. Apple convinced a judge during trial that some of Masimo’s claimed trade secrets were “generally known,” cutting them from the case before it went to the US District Court for the Central District of California jury.
