Mark Wahlberg’s Burger Chain Sues LA Food Truck Over Trademarks

The Wahlburgers hamburger chain started by Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg and his brothers sued food truck operators at the Los Angeles County Fair, accusing them of violating the chain’s trademarks, according to a new federal lawsuit.

Jose De La Cruz operated a Backyard BBQ Village food truck “bearing giant, bright colored signage containing” all three registered Wahlburgers trademarks, as well as multiple “reproductions of the names and photographs of Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg,” according to the complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
