Neurocentria Inc., doing business as Magceutics Inc., sued e-commerce company Green Jeeva LLC in California federal court alleging its magnesium imports and sales infringe the company’s patents.
Green Jeeva imports and resells magnesium L-threonate to customers who use the raw ingredient to create their own products, according to a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Central District of California by Magcuetics and co-plaintiff ThreoTech LLC. Ten patents protect various uses of magnesium L-threonate and exclusive licensee ThreoTech’s Magtein product for brain health, which is made from it.
