Luxury Brand Chrome Hearts Accuses Nordstrom of Counterfeiting

American luxury brand Chrome Hearts LLC says retail giant Nordstrom Inc. is manufacturing and selling products that bear symbols almost identical to its trademarked designs that have driven its brand and attracted A-list celebrities for decades.

Chrome Hearts filed the trademark infringement suit on June 4 after the department store company allegedly started to sell apparel and jewelry with infringing marks both online and in retail locations, while also marketing the merchandise on social media, the complaint alleges.
