Country music star Luke Combs said a Florida fan who sold tumblers adorned with his name and image was inadvertently swept up in a federal lawsuit his attorneys filed against a swath of online merchants who sell counterfeit products.
Combs, who claimed he wasn’t aware of the lawsuit filed in October in Chicago federal court, said in a Wednesday Instagram post that he apologized to Nicol Harness, who sells tumblers and t-shirts on Amazon.
She sold 18 tumblers on her online shop, making $380, according to NBC’s Tampa Bay affiliate WFLA.
