‘Luchasaurus’ Must Face Copyright Suit Over Wrestling Mask

Professional wrestler Austin Matelson and All Elite Wrestling LLC lost their bids to dismiss a copyright and breach of contract suit alleging unauthorized use and modification of a Mexican wrestling mask.

All Elite Wrestling and Matelson, who performs in the ring under the name “Luchasaurus,” asked the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana to dismiss the suit brought by Composite Effects LLC. The court denied their motions on Tuesday.
