Lockheed’s Missile Defense System Accused of Infringing Patent

Omnitek Partners LLC accused Lockheed Martin Corp.‘s short-range missile defense systems of violating protected technology that shields military bases from incoming enemy rockets, according to a federal lawsuit.

The non-practicing entity accused Lockheed’s THAAD ER Interceptor, PAC-3 MSE, and PAC-3 CRI systems of infringing US Patent No. 6,860,448, according to a complaint filed March 1 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
