Little Caesars’ introduction of its new “Crazy Puffs” menu item—which are described as Pizza Puffs—infringes on a frozen foods company’s nearly 50-year-old “Pizza Puffs” trademarks, according to a new lawsuit filed against the pizza chain.
Illinois Tamale Co., which has owned Pizza Puffs marks since 1976, said in its June 21 complaint that Little Caesar Enterprises Inc. illegally used the term in its description of the product introduced in March.
