Liberty Mutual Settles VOIP Patent Fight on Eve of Texas Trial

Liberty Mutual Group Inc. is the latest company to reach an out-of-court settlement of internet-based telephone technology patent infringement claims brought by Estech Systems IP LLC.

The insurance company and entities related to Conduent Business Process Optimization Services Inc. were scheduled for a joint trial against Estech this week in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
