LG Win Over Five TV-Internet Overlay Patents Upheld on Appeal

Five patents on smart TV technology were properly invalidated based on LG Electronics Inc.‘s arguments that their language was inconsistent, the Federal Circuit held.

The U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey dismissed TVnGO Ltd.'s infringement claims, finding relevant parts of the patents indefinite.
