Technology in Samsung and LG Electronics smartphones infringes patented facial recognition systems, a pair of lawsuits filed in Texas allege.
Baccone LLC, a Delaware-based company, claims LG Electronics, Inc., LG Electronics Mobilecomm U.S.A., Inc., Samsung Electronics Co. LTD., and Samsung Electronics America Inc. infringed U.S. Patents No. 10,027,726 and 10,027,727 involving facial recognition technology and processes and No. 10,019,136 covering technology and approaches for image sharing.
