LG Faces Patent Lawsuit Over Wireless Device Technology

LG Electronics U.S.A. Inc. is accused of infringing three patents on wireless multimedia device technology with its G series smartphones.

Mesa Digital LLC alleges in a May 3 complaint that LG is using technology covered by U.S. Patent Nos. 9,031,537, 9,646,444, and 10,182,144. The patents describe a wireless hand-held device that communicates with wireless networks and has features such as data transmission and geolocation mapping, according to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
