LG and its LG Electronics USA Inc. unit didn’t infringe US Patent Nos. 9,055,254, 9,510,040, 10,419,805, 9,247,174 and 9,055,255, according to a jury verdict filed Friday in the Marshall courthouse of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The jury determined LG proved each of the asserted patent claims were invalid.
Multimedia Technologies sued LG in December 2022, alleging it infringed the patents with TV products incorporating LG webOS operating system.
