Lenovo, ZTE Hit With Similar Texas Patent Suits Over Server Tech

Lenovo Group Ltd. and ZTE Corp. are the latest companies sued in a Marshall, Texas-based nonpracticing entity’s patent assertion campaign over computer server products.

ServStor Technologies LLC’s protected processes for disk drive and server management are used in the Lenovo ThinkSystem and ZTE ZXCloud product lines and other items, according to the separate similar complaints filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The Lenovo and ZTE servers infringe US Patent Nos. 7,000,010; 7,870,271; 7,191,274; 6,738,930, and 7,310,750, ServStor claimed.
