Lenovo and Ericsson Reach Global Patent Licensing Agreement (1)

Lenovo Group Ltd. and Ericsson announced a settlement that includes a global patent cross license agreement to resolve patent disputes across several countries between the companies.

Binding arbitration will determine the final terms of the agreement, which includes ending all patent litigation between the companies, according to a Thursday email by Lenovo.

“We are pleased to have reached this resolution with Ericsson, resolving our global cross-licensing dispute,” Taylor Ludlam, Lenovo’s VP and Chief Intellectual Property & Litigation Officer, said in an emailed statement.
