Leidos, Booz Allen Lose $1.3 Billion Treasury Contract Protest

The US Treasury Department properly awarded a $1.3 billion information technology contract to Science Applications International Corp. despite protests from two competing contractors, the Government Accountability Office said.

Leidos Inc. and Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. failed to convince the GAO that the department demonstrated competitive prejudice or made unreasonable tradeoffs when it evaluated quotations for cloud computing and cloud-related information technology services.

The office’s decision, released Wednesday, denied protests of the TCloud blanket purchase agreement after finding no basis to disturb the agency’s preference.
