LeBron James’ media company cemented its rights to its “More Than an Athlete” trademarks after the US Supreme Court declined Monday to hear a nonprofit’s appeal of cancellation of its conflicting mark.

The move upholds a US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruling that trademark rights that James’ Uninterrupted IP LLC acquired from a third party during its dispute gave the company priority over Game Plan Inc.'s “I AM MORE THAN AN ATHLETE. GP GAME PLAN” registration.
