Lawyer Opposes Inventor Rothschild’s Bid for Fast Defamation Win

A Baker Botts patent attorney urged a federal judge to deny patent owner Leigh Rothschild a quick win in his defamation lawsuit against her.

Rachael Lamkin said Rothschild and his company Analytical Technologies LLC failed to demonstrate statements reported in a Bloomberg Law article are false, an essential element of a defamation claim, in an opposition filed March 21 in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
