Law Firm Wants Microsoft Communication Records in Sanctions Bid

Microsoft Corp, patent owner CTD Networks LLC and litigation backer AiPi Solutions must be ordered to hand over communications exchanged between them and their attorneys to investigate an alleged untruthful declaration over a small Texas law firm’s litigation tactics, Ramey LLP told a federal judge.

Microsoft and Ramey LLP are battling over motions for sanctions against each other in CTD’s now dismissed patent dispute in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. Both motions involve a declaration by Eric Morehouse, co-founder of AiPi, stating Ramey didn’t follow its former client CTD’s orders to dismiss its lawsuit. ...
