Lasertec Sees AI Sustaining Double-Digit Growth of Its Chip Gear

Lasertec Corp. aims to sustain double-digit annual revenue growth for the next few years, as artificial intelligence demand spurs production ramp-ups of high-capability semiconductors.

The Japanese company holds 100% market share in machines that verify chip designs in manufacturing processes using extreme ultraviolet lithography, an essential step for today’s most advanced chips. Its tools are used by chipmakers including Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Intel Corp. and Samsung Electronics Co.
