Kraft Settles ‘Poppers’ Trademark Case With Frozen Food Maker

Kraft Heinz settled claims with Real Good Food Co. in Pennsylvania federal court that its frozen “Poppers” infringe Kraft’s trademarks.

Kraft said it owns federal trademark registrations for “Poppers” in connection with “coated and breaded vegetable pieces” and “frozen appetizers,” and licenses the marks to companies like TGI Friday’s to use on frozen food. Real Good Food sold frozen “Real Good Poppers” that include jalapeño, artichoke and cheese, bacon and cheddar, and pepperoni and mozzarella varieties.
