Korea’s SK Hynix Accused of Infringing Four Flash Memory Patents

Korean semiconductor firm SK Hynix Inc. was hit with a lawsuit from Advanced Memory Technologies LLC, who said the company infringed its patents for semiconductor memory modules.

SK Hyinx infringed four patents that cover technologies like a booster circuit and flash memory modules, according to the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

SK Hynix, which has a US subsidiary based in Texas, earned $12 billion in revenue from the US in the first six months of 2024 accounting for more than half of its overall sales during that time, the complaint said. ...
