Kiss, Velour Resolve Artificial Eyelash Patent Dispute in Texas

Kiss Nail Products Inc. and Velour Cosmetics Inc. told a Texas federal judge they’ve resolved a patent infringement dispute concerning the sale and importation of artificial eyelashes and kits.

The companies agreed to a confidential settlement agreement and permanent injunction preventing Velour from selling products competing with Kiss’ ready-to-use eyelash extensions, according to a joint motion filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The agreement gives Velour a 90-day period to sell off its products, including the Xtensions Self-Stick and LayZ Gal Lash Clusters.
