Kenneth Cole Sued Over Data Collection After Cookie Rejection

Two California residents sued Kenneth Cole Productions Inc. for allegedly sharing their personal information with Meta Platforms Inc., Google LLC, and other third parties after they opted out of tracking cookies on the company’s website.

Jose Ortiz and John Inzalaco alleged that the Kenneth Cole website displayed a consent banner allowing users to reject cookies used for a variety of purposes, including analytics, marketing, and functionality.
