The 818 Tequila brand endorsed by celebrity Kendall Jenner settled a trademark infringement lawsuit alleging the name and logo were confusingly similar to a Texas-based brand called Tequila 512.
Both parties agreed to pay their own attorneys’ fees, but no other details were available, according to the joint agreement filed Tuesday in the Central District of California.
A spokesperson for 818 Tequila and an attorney for Tequila 512 didn’t immediately return requests for comment.
