An Ohio food truck’s pun — “L’Eggo My Eggroll” — on a famous breakfast slogan prompted a Kellanova unit to file a lawsuit accusing the business of hijacking its Eggo waffle brand.

Kellogg North America Co. LLC sued Leggo My Eggroll Ohio LLC alleging trademark and trade-dress infringement, unfair competition, and brand dilution, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Kellogg seeks an injunction, damages, and the destruction of any signs, menus, or wraps tied to the disputed name and design.
