Kim Kardashian’s “SKKN by Kim” product line ripped off the trademark of a New York esthetician’s salon that does business as SKKN+, a lawsuit filed Tuesday against the reality star and model said.
Beauty Concepts LLC, a Brooklyn skin-care studio that does business under the name SKKN+, lodged the claims against Kardashian, her business entity Kimsaprincess Inc., and beauty company Coty Inc., saying Kardashian’s product line, which launched last week, uses branding that’s too similar to the salon’s.
