K&L Gates Sees Ex-NOAA Adviser Join in DC Office (Correct)

Dr. Alexis Gutierrez joined K&L Gates as a government affairs adviser in its public policy and law practice in Washington, DC, the firm announced Monday.

Gutierrez brings deep experience at the intersection of policy, science, and government affairs, having led high-level legislative and public engagement strategies across both the executive and legislative branches. She secured more than $3 billion in funding to support NOAA missions, including the largest supplemental appropriation in NOAA’s history, the firm said.

She joins from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
