The Federal Circuit and Western District of Texas want to help young attorneys get experience standing up in court, but that doesn’t mean the judges will go easy on them.
Judge Alan Albright of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas wants to get the word out that he’s willing to hold more hearings to give inexperienced attorneys the opportunity to argue in court. He gives “great credit to clients and big law firms and small firms—they’ve taken me up on it, and I think it’s terrific.”
