Judge Threatens to Toss ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star’s Trademark Suit

A California federal judge ordered Bravo TV star Lala Kent to show cause as to why her trademark infringement suit against a cosmetics company shouldn’t be dismissed for lack of prosecution.

Cosmesi LLC has failed to answer Lala Kent Inc.'s lawsuit accusing the company of using her “Give Them Lala” trademark without permission after their joint business venture dissolved, yet Kent has failed to request an entry of default, Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett wrote in a show-cause order issued Tuesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California. Garnett directed Kent to respond by Dec. 11.
