Judge Sinks Traxcell’s Injunction Bid in Verizon’s Fees Dispute

Traxcell Technologies LLC lost a bid to block Verizon Wireless from recovering more than $500,000 in attorney’s fees in a patent infringement fight.

Judge Alan Albright refused to issue a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction to halt the enforcement of attorney’s fees, according to the order filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. Albright said Traxcell’s arguments didn’t meet the prerequisites for an injunction.
