Judge Picks Co-Lead Counsel in Apple AI Copyright Class Action

A federal judge appointed two attorneys to represent plaintiffs in a proposed class action against Apple Inc. over claims the technology company used pirated books in its database to train its artificial intelligence models.

William Dreher of Keller Rohrback LLP and Rohit Nath of Susman Godfrey LLP will be the interim co-lead counsel for authors including Grady Hendrix, according to a Jan. 30 order filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
