JPMorgan Chase, Comerica, Liberty Mutual Draw Patent Lawsuits

Three of the nation’s largest financial services companies allegedly incorporated protected digital banking technology into their products and services without permission from the patent owner, according to a trio of new lawsuits.

JPMorgan Chase & Co., Comerica Inc., and Liberty Mutual Holding Co. infringed a basket of financial services patents held by Intellectual Ventures I LLC and Intellectual Ventures II LLC, according to separate complaints filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
