Jo-Ann Stores LLC and Fiesta Fabric have agreed to settle a case involving textile design copyright claims and counterclaims, resulting in the action’s dismissal.
The case, which was filed by Fiesta Fabric earlier this year, was dismissed without costs and without prejudice following the deal, according to an order by Judge Fernando M. Olguin of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Attorneys for Fiesta Fabric, also known as Gold Value International Textile Inc., notified the court of the settlement Oct. 4.
