Johnson & Johnson’s plan to ask jurors for $3.7 billion of Alcon Inc.’s profits from sales of artificial replacement lenses in next week’s copyright-infringement trial is “really greedy,” a federal judge said.

Judge Colm F. Connolly made the comment during an exchange with a lawyer representing three J&J subsidiaries at a Feb. 6 pretrial conference, according to a transcript made available Feb. 8 in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
