Israel’s Technion Files Patent Infringement Suit Against Microsoft

PETACH TIKVA — The Technion Institute of Technology filed a NIS25 million (US$6.4m) patent infringement lawsuit against Microsoft Corporation on June 6, claiming that Microsoft is illegally using online software developed by a Technion professor (Technion Research and Development Foundation v. Microsoft and Microsoft Israel, case no. 9360-06-12).
