IRobot Trade Ruling Punted Fifth Time in SharkNinja Vacuum Fight

IRobot Corp.’s wait for a decision in the first round of its bid to block imports of JS Global Lifestyle Co.’s SharkNinja robotic vacuums will continue after the US International Trade Commission postponed until Oct. 7 the deadline for its initial determination, the dispute’s fifth such delay.

ITC Judge MaryJoan McNamara issued an order Sept. 16 extending the target date for the investigation’s completion from Jan. 16 to Feb. 7. The order also bumped the deadline for her initial determination through Oct. 7, though McNamara said the decision “may issue sooner.”
