An Irish patent owner accused Vertiv Corp.’s data center customers of patent infringement for using cooling equipment allegedly provided by the digital infrastructure company.
Valtrus Innovations Ltd. pointed to Vertiv’s May 2024 declaratory judgment claim which stated the data systems firm would be liable for any rulings against its customers infringing Valtrus’s patents, according to the complaint.
