A House bill aimed at bolstering U.S. competition with China that includes provisions on inventor diversity and counterfeit goods is now heading to the Senate.
Language drawn from the Inventor Diversity for Economic Advancement Act (H.R. 1723) and Stopping Harmful Offers on Platforms by Screening Against Fakes in E-commerce Act (H.R. 5374) were folded into the bill (H.R. 4521), a Biden administration priority that passed Friday.
