Netflix Ends ‘Gone Girls’ Copyright Row Over Alleged Killer Chat

A lawsuit alleging a Netflix Inc. documentary infringed a YouTuber’s interview with an alleged serial killer was dropped after the parties resolved the dispute.

Antoine Amira asked the court to dismiss his suit accusing the streamer of infringing 49 seconds of his interview with accused murderer Rex Heuermann in the documentary “Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer,” according to a Sunday filing in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
