A German court blocked domestic sales of certain Intel Corp. processors, siding with another California-based tech firm that said Intel infringed its European patent.
A regional court based in Düsseldorf found Intel infringed a patent belonging R2 Semiconductor Inc. in Feb. 7 ruling. Intel flagged the proceeding as a litigation risk in October and January filings at the US Security and Exchange Commission, stating “an injunction would be a disproportionate remedy.”
