Intel Bid for Full Fed. Cir. Review of VLSI Verdict Rejected

The Federal Circuit denied Intel Corp.'s bid for a full-court review of their own decision partly reversing a Waco, Texas, jury’s $2.2 billion patent verdict against the chip maker.

In its petition, which sought either a panel rehearing or “en banc” review, Intel argued the court’s original panel “overlooked undisputed evidence concerning the sequence of events” that occurs in Intel’s” allegedly infringing products that differ from US Patent No. 7,523,373 specific technique for supplying voltage to a memory component of a chip.
