Intel and ParkerVision Settle Patent Case Days Into Trial (2)

Intel Corp. and Florida-based ParkerVision Inc. settled a lawsuit over Intel’s alleged infringement of radio-frequency patents through chips used in iPhones, midway through a Texas trial.

At the opening of the second day of a trial Tuesday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas, Judge Alan D. Albright told the jurors that the parties had resolved their differences.

That same day, PV reported to its shareholders that it had “entered into a patent license and settlement agreement with a third-party and expects to receive a payment of $25,000,000.”
