Alabama-based insurance company Alfa Corp. sued the maker of Alfa Systems finance software in Atlanta federal court for allegedly infringing its trademarks.
Alfa Corp. says London-based Alfa Financial Software Holdings PLC is likely to cause confusion with it by expanding from serving only the largest asset-finance companies to U.S. asset-finance companies of all sizes and individual consumers.
