Instacart, Partiful Sued by App Maker Over ‘Fizz’ Service Launch

Fizz Social Corp., a social media and event planning platform targeting Generation Z, sued Instacart and Partiful Co., accusing the companies of trademark infringement with their recent launch of a new “Fizz” app for party planning and event coordination services.

Partiful is a direct competitor of Fizz in party and event planning focusing on the Gen-Z market, according to a complaint filed May 7 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
