Ingenico Gets Ramey Unit Patent Suit on Credit Card Tech Tossed

Ingenico Inc. convinced a federal judge in Georgia to dismiss a New Mexico-based company’s infringement lawsuit over a patent related to wireless hand-held multimedia devices.

Judge Thomas W. Thrash Jr. of the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia granted the request by Ingenico, which Apollo Global Management LLC acquired in October 2022. But he gave Mesa Digital LLC a chance to cure the deficiencies detailed in a June 21 opinion.
