Infosys Can’t Escape Cognizant’s Health IT Trade Secrets Suit

Infosys Ltd. failed to dismiss Cognizant TriZetto Software Group Inc.’s lawsuit accusing the IT services company of stealing its software and source code to create competing products.

TriZetto, a health technology services firm and a unit of Cognizant Tech Solutions Corp., sufficiently detailed the allegedly stolen trade secrets and how Infosys used them to develop medical claims tools, according to an opinion issued Aug. 15 in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
