Influencers Fail to Settle Vibe-Theft Copyright Lawsuit

Content creators embroiled in a copyright lawsuit over a “neutral, beige, and cream aesthetic” failed to resolve the case after mediation earlier this month.

Alyssa Sheil and Sydney Nicole Gifford on April 4 couldn’t settle their dispute before a former Texas district judge, Sheil disclosed in an April 16 filing in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. Judge Patrick Keel made a mediator’s proposal, but on April 8 informed parties that “the case did not resolve,” according to the filing.
